On Christmas day, Eric is surprised to see that his grandmother has bought him a sketchbook and colored pencils to start him on his dream. Later, Eric and his Grandma visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art where Eric is enchanted by a painting by Diego Velazquez and this makes him want to become an artist. Synopsis: In order to prepare for Christmas, Eric’s grandmother purchases all of the ingredients and goes through the process of making a Puerto Rican holiday dish called pasteles.
